My name is Tony Vila and I'm a big fan of theater. I sometimes act in shows and I try to attend as much regional theater as I can, with season subscriptions to several. I found myself frustrated that there wasn't one place where I could find what was playing on stage locally - Most sites/searches either excluded a bunch of smaller theatrical companies or were complex to navigate or both. So here we are.
I started just by searching local Atlanta theater companies and venues to build the initial list. As I discover new troupes, I'll add them here. (If you represent an Atlanta theatrical company or venue that isn't listed, please contact me at atltheater@gmail.com.) Right now I compile online resources to get the information here on the site. I'm not professionally affiliated with any particular theater (apart from being a paying subscriber and attendee for several) and I receive no compensation for doing this work. Maybe one day I'll sell ads - hey, a guy's got to pay for show tickets somehow!
My eventual goal is to give local theaters the ability to add their own shows so I don't have to do as much work.
